M.G.M.S. Library Mission & Goals

Mount Gleason M.S. Library Mission:

The mission of the Mount Gleason M.S library is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information; that students are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.

Mount Gleason M.S. Library Goals:

1. To encourage student engagement in reading & research in the school library.

2. To help Students and Staff learn how to set up & properly use the School Library OPAC.

3. For students to develop a love of libraries and become life-long library patrons.

4. To ensure students and staff promote personal responsibility of one’s library record.
